State of the Union 2011 - Mobile Dial-Testing/Realtime Polling Initiative

Welcome to the real-time polling for the State of the Union. You can participate in this unique project by providing realtime feedback as you are watching or listening to the State of the Union - conveniently with your mobile device. We will be sending you a notification a few minutes before the State of the Union address and you can participate in the "State of the Union Realtime Feedback" survey. Hundreds of people like you will be providing feedback.


After the event we will publish the results and provide you access to sophisticated reports as well as ways to view how your feedback rated against other people who provided feedback.


In order to provide the best possible analysis of the collected data, we've partnered with UMass Political Science professor Stu Shulman and will be leveraging his 10 year NSF-funded text analytics research tool - DiscoverText™ to analyze the data from social networks as well as data provided by participants in real-time.
